Hiba Sallakh

Born in Damascus, Syria, Mrs. Hiba Sallakh holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, along with formal studies in Qur’an and Islamic Studies. She has taught in several mosques and educational institutions across New Zealand, including Iqraa School and the Turkish Educational Centre.

Hiba is the Principal of Qiyam Educational Centre and an active member of the NZ Syrian Community. She is responsible for developing the Qiyam vision and for designing its unique educational programs, student activities, and curricula — integrating cultural identity with modern teaching approaches to promote well-rounded student growth.
